Any advice welcome guys as my skyhook light has come on and even after a batt reset wont go out.
Car feels fine and sport mode working on gear changes.
Have'nt tried my diagnostics yet but im betting it won't do active suspension unless maybe i plug it in as an Alfa.
Any advice or pointers?
Or is my luck running out?
Phil.

Phil,
My diagnostic kit will definitely not look at suspension ecu's...
not sure about the alfa stuff you have. If I couldn't diagnose it myself,
even if it drives ok, I would get it to a dealer or indy to get it checked.
Regards,
Enzo.

My gransport suspension light came on, meridian changed the suspension ecu. Didn't fixit, they then did something with the throttle ( not sure what ) that seemed to fix the problem.

I believe Suspension, clutch and gearbox issues are controlled by the addition of the SD3 to the original SD2 diagnostic softaware, dont think you can even read the code fault without it

Thanks for that P.
Took her up to Yorkshire and back today done 450 miles ran faultless apart from skyhook light on.
Nearly got 20mpg.
Picked up a new member for the fleet a BMW Z4 3.0 se auto 2004 for the current Mrs Wilkinson.
Black with red leather its a lot more economical than mine.
Phil.

What ended up happening here? I just got back from a short visit home and was disappointed to see this light come on and have my car running in limp mode. Battery reset would avoid it for first start up, but after 2nd or 3rd, it would come right back.

When I'm reunited with her in July I will do my clutch and get this sorted, but would be great to hear what the "fix" was and also how much it set you back.

Cheers,

JP
