Do these just pop out with a trim tool (Part 18)? Tried searching side vents but nothing comes up. Cheers all.

Cool hopefully someone can confirm. Will spray the black in the middle the same time as i do the front vents. Thanks Zep.

I had similar thoughts around painting the vents black on my car so bought a spare from Eurospares to trial paint. I found the paint I used didn't adhere very well so make sure you rub them down well and use primer... The vents do just push out although have a catch section at one end, here are some photos:

They do pop out. Be aware though. Prise the 'chrome' surrounds out, and the wire mesh is free to be removed, or more probably fall inside down inside the wing. Fortunately I had a snakey grabber and an hour to feel grab and remove.

Thanks all for the help, popped these out and sprayed. Was extra careful the black mesh didn't come off and fall inside as instructed. Looks much better :) For those that want to do it pop them from the right hand side first as they have a clip on the left side of the vent.
