That's great. I think the hardest physical work I've ever done is all day with a tree stump grinder. I was proper cream crackered after that and sore all over for weeks! Still got one stump I couldn't get at so trying to kill it with some sort of kill everything stuff

When we moved into this house the previous owner bred dogs so there was a concrete dog run all down one side of the garden so I went to the tool hire and rented what looked like a big hammer drill which chipped bits off so I went back and got a bigger one which chipped bigger bits off so I went back and got one of those jack hammer things you see people digging trenches with on the road

That did the job, it took me 2 days to get it all out and I have never been so knackered in my life , it looks easy when you're sat in your air conditioned car watching them but it's much more physical than it looks

If you can find some. Creosote. Kills everything. When we removed the conifers from my parents garden, we chopped them all down, drilled holes in the stump, poured creosote down, in a week they were dead as you like and were easy to remove.

Probably why they banned creosote.

Then there is the poisoning of cats as their skin is very absorbent, and laying on freshly treated fences is quite a common problem.

It is highly carcinogenic as well as being high in volotile organics (VOC) so not good for you, your family or the planet basically.

I thought it was. Was excellent at killing conifers though.
I always used to help my dad paint the fence with it.
