Shite that I don't need

Speaking of shite that I don't need, I just bought a carbon fibre fuel cap cover. Magnificent yet utterly pointless.
That's reminds me of the 90s biker fad of adding carbon fibre bits to bikes, headstock, swing arm covers etc. Make your bike look lighter by adding weight...

Got a ZXR 750 in bits in the garage... I'll add that to this list while I'm here... Carbón bits too

Can’t remember the last time Effin useless “air Fryer” that is now sat next to my Breville sandwich toaster in the back of a cupboard.

Airfryer is great for cooking sausages , no standing by a frying pan or waiting for the grille to warm up , just lob them in and do something else , good for frozen chips too, useless for all the that tasteless healthy ******** though

I now use an updated version of the “airfryer”
It’s called a “wifefryer”
Running costs are admittedly a little more expensive though.

Has anybody got a chainsaw that they don't need or is willing to lend me?
I could hire one from HSS for the weekend at £97 or buy a cheap petrol one from Aldi for £80!
I only need it to cut down a silver birch and chop it up.
An axe is too manual unless I ask a hipster with their lumberjack shirt an frontier beard, but their loose at the top jeans might foul their swinging action...

You don't need a petrol one; more to go wrong before the next time you feel the call of the wild...

I just bought a cheapie mains electric Bosch one from B&Q I think it was, I have a very old horse chestnut tree I have to pollard about once every 10 years and couldn't be ar$ed with having to de-gum a petrol one every time I needed it. Chains are standard off the shelf and not really worth sharpening either. If I needed a new chainsaw now I'd go with 18v Makita as I have most of the other tools in the range.

Fastest way to get an A&E visit. I have a few acres of woodland and am not allowed a chainsaw as we would need a chauffeur when I had chopped 1+ of my limbs off. Cheaper to get the pros in or at the very least get the fancy trousers and top.

Get a decent hand saw and you will be able to get it done in stages.
Branches first. Then cut bits off from the top down.

Actually, just buy the chainsaw.

My wife is H&S ..so I'd have to raise a Method Statement, Risk Assessment ensure I wear good PPE. Then get a man in to do it...who no doubt will be of eastern European extraction, fill up his petrol chainsaw whilst smoking a cigarette, he'll be wearing safety flip flops and shorts...

If I buy a chainsaw, I'll use it then add it to this list of Shite I no longer need...still I have the shelf space...

depending how big it is this is the safer option, both jaws open so it'll cut the full length of the chain but the chances of cutting your leg off are greatly reduced

I have a chainsaw. It used to fall under the category of "shite my father-in-law doesn't need." It's shite, and I don't need it. Now, that bad-*** alligator lopper looks utterly necessary!

Are you going to Brooklands? If so , during the 'all pile back to mine' we could have a SportMaserati Lumberjack competition...what could go wrong??

I'll just check where the nearest A&E!

A friend of mine in Alton had a chainsaw too...hes only got one bollock now, I kid you not.

Kicked back in his crutch and severed his main artery, he's lucky to be alive. Was airlifted by copter.

For months he had 2 bits of wood on his drivers seat so he could drive...ill let you work that one out for yourself.

I have a chainsaw but they scare me silly. Mines on a 2 meter pole so less likely to cut my own head off but quite easy to cut the wifes off.
