Bored in an airport, I nearly bought the DJI Pocket thing. Also a cracking bit of kit. Clever as all h3ll. But I bought this instead.

I'm a sucker for an independent shop willing to do deals and throw in a 'free' case as well as applying a hefty discount.

Martin, how're you doing for space on those shelves?

TBH I've tried a Rolls. It was not the most confidence inspiring. Certainly wouldn't want to shave my head :)

You’ve got me thinking though.....I get a bit miffed when the Mrs uses my razor for the lady garden and then deposits it back without giving it the rubber strip clean.
The look on her face if I suddenly place a “Rolls” in my toilet bag could be quite interesting.

I'm amazed Mrs Wattie does not have her own over priced lady garden razor.

My brother is famous for this, he bought a 12' rubber dingy and motor to fish and drink in in the former mill lodges in Bolton. paid £600 for it and then texts me asking me where Neath is and could I pick it up for him in my then current chariot, my Alfa Romeo 166.

I said not poss., so he got his mate to do it in his Transit, cost £120 in diesel (twin axle). Got it back to Bolton only to find it was punctured to buggery and it now resides in my other brother's shed for the last 12 years.

Same with a baby upright piano from Southend.

Then he won a eBay auction for a Gibson Explorer from USA without checking if the guy would ship to UK - he wouldn't so he got me to contact my Boltonian mate in Boston MA who was due a trip over and bring it back in the hold. He said ok on the grounds I collect him and his Mrs when they landed at Manchester Airport at stupid o'clock, 5:30am I seem to remember. I drove to airport, no sign, waited ages and he and wife appeared, no guitar. They impounded it. Got it next day tho but FFS.....

Anyone got a set of Uilleann Pipes they bought with regret? I'll have them!!

Some little square magnets off that wish app a
Few months back. Pure boredom.

Got them out, pulled them apart, made a couple shapes. Back into a square, into the tin, into the drawer haha.

I’m sure I had a good reason to buy them at the very second I did. At least they only cost a few quid lol

Surely a nice strap-on ride-on lawn-mower would be better?
:lol2:
Just thought of something else. Whisky stones.
Can’t stand the stuff but thought they could replace ice cubes (dunno why cos my fridge automatically produces them by the thousands).
After a week in the freezer, used them in my G&T hopeless. They warm up literally immediately.
someone somewhere is laughing their nuts off at being able to sell stone to people By the million.
Open to offers, used once, vgc. Slate grey.

Got some in a highly non-PC goodie bag at an bash last year. You're right. Complete and utter rubbish.

(Seriously HR in the UK would have had screaming kittens. Encouraging alcohol (ab)use, smoking and including drugs for the morning after....)

After a day with the Hero Black 7 ProHo it turns out I actually did need this thing. Hyper lapse mode is epic!
