Just thought this might be of use to some. Just got a new Shell Rewards GO+ rewards card. It is all free and gives 10% off Costa Express drinks,Deli2Go food and all Shell Helix oil.

I think there are also fuel rewards after so many fill ups as well.

Yeah, it's pretty good. I do sod all miles but still get a few quid off from time to time. It's all app-based now, so no need to carry a card.

In nearly 40 years of collecting Shell points schemes I have NEVER successfully got anything out of them! for 5 years on the road in the middle I wracked up thousands of points on their scheme for them to change it and devalue the points by half overnight! then a couple of years later they devalued by half again in converting them to air miles (I think you got 2 for every 25 litres) in paper form then the air miles scheme went bust! They went to the Ferrari scheme after that (I was buying Optimax around then) and I wracked up thousands more for them to junk that scheme before I got anything back, I kid you not, nothing so much as a baseball cap! I gave up at that point...

And breathe...

That pretty much sums up my feelings with the whole Shell loyalty scheme too Newton...
Still the best fuel in the UK though....! :D

Same thing happened to me too. At the time I started collecting points some really good rewards were on offer at achievable levels but Shell changed the reward scheme before I was able to use them and I lost most of the value.

Lucky for them V power is my fuel of choice but still frustrating!

lucky for them I prefer the v power, had the card for a couple of years and got fook all, then they recently did a scratch card thing with every £30 0f v power, had about 5 cards inputted the numbers in their website and heard fook all even though it stated that some sort of confirmation would be sent either way, bloomin pointless in my view

I used to fill up with BP because of the Nectar points, now they have gone I was looking for something else. The 10% of oil seems like a winner to me. I think I'll sign up.

I've got quite a bit out of them, £2.50 out of a fill up which was better than Tesco's 1 point per £2 of fuel. If you find a cheap Shell then it's better to fill up there than Tesco's. And remember only 1 tank in 4 needs to be V power to get a cleaner engine not 4 out of 4. (Shell boffin told me that!)

I collected Nectar via BP garages and have amassed £48.00
BP have now withdrawn from the Nectar scheme so I will spend the money and ditch them as I don't shop at Sainsbury's and only dabble on ebay.
I also have one and a half books of Greenshield Stamps:D
Beat that!
