For those as confused as myself I had a Garlic Chicken Fibonacci at my local Italian yesterday.

I have 3% trailing stops in place (very small margins) and had 5 trigger overnight.
MSFT
BIIB
AU
PLG
SBGL

All but SBGL are now back up and above that 3% trigger level.

I still like them all but will not reinvest till Tuesday earliest as there is a possibility of bad news over the weekend affecting them.

I think there was an over reaction drop in ncyt share price yesterday, suspect it will go a bit lower today then maybe a good time to buy?

Only time will tell.....let’s face it the only reason to invest is that they claim they have an accurate Covid-19 test kit.
If they do it’s got legs and should rise
If they don’t or the virus subsides it’s probably gonna fall.

Looking at the US futures, today could be a bloodbath for the big momentum stocks. It looks very much like the Fibonacci timing confluence which I highlighted last night is significant. The decision appears to be “down”.

Only time will tell!

NCYT has indeed bounced today (up to 95.5 as I type) and will be interesting to see whether investors take a position ahead of the weekend. Notwithstanding some crazy Ukrainians firebombing a bus of healthy quarantine people, it maybe that for investors here this virus is not going to go global in a big way. The impacts of Covid-19 for 90%+ of is not serious so as long as they can keep it broadly contained and as medical care manageable then I can see this running its course as we get into the spring.

Was the decline not driven by Wattie selling? and I bet he bought back at the low this morning and will sell again before the day is out reaping a nice little earner as Arthur would say

Have you got insurance against meltdown....

In a months time this virus will have crippled most of Asia, supply chains struggling now will be broken. That will impact the entire world. There will be thousands more infected.

My Mrs got an email today from her competition footwear supplier (stripper shoes.com) saying they were out of stock and didn’t expect to be resupplied till June.

If that ain’t a sign of how bad it is I don’t know what is.
Dont say I didn’t warn u ;)

BOOM! US services contracting (reading below 50), and rate of manufacturing growth slowing. Hold on tight!

I've been checking the share price for NCYT throughout the day and I'm watching with interest Wattie. I would say good luck but that would mean I was hoping (on your behalf) for a global pandemic crippling the worlds financial systems and sending us all nearer to oblivion. None of which is NCYT's fault. Their only trying to help :)

I can’t take any credit if NCYT does well.
Contigo highlighted it on the “worried” thread.

Stupid Is what stupid does....

Because creating money out of thin air will cure infections.......and now we discover you can be reinfected.

Some more stocks triggered my 3% stop loss yesterday.

Amzn and Fb.

Interestingly ABBV too and 90% was sold off with only 10 shares now remaining on a price that subsuquently moved slightly higher. Wine’s paid for in multiples.
I’ll hold the balance ABBV and reset ALL stops today.

No emotion in these markets- in/out on the stops......except for NCYT and GGP where I have no stops in place. (PLG excepted too as I bought back in as I reckon it’s a belter).

Gold going nuts, miners doing very, very well too. Some are 20-30% up plus.

Central bankers must be sh1tting themselves just now.

They have created a bubble of epic proportions in global stock markets all totally and utterly reliant on money from thin air.
If this virus becomes pandemic they will have no choice but to print so much it will blow your socks off ....
or, global stock markets will collapse on a scale never ever seen before.

Watch the video, 6 mins onwards. He's lying about the state of the US economy.

Brilliant that you're doing so well, Wattie - great to hear!

Just to make everybody aware that, on Wednesday this week, the monthly gold futures contracts expire. As was the case with equities at the end of last week, Big Money will be out to break as may hearts as possible in its attempt to avoid having to pay anything to the crowd.

I've done some quick analysis (and, as ever, I'm only sharing and not advising), and here's my take on the current position.

As the crowd have been getting longer on gold, Big Money has been getting shorter - this is reflected in the COT (commitment of traders) data highlighted below. Note also that gold is at monthly trendline resistance:

On Friday, gold was bought exuberantly - the GLD stock gapped up whilst in the overbought condition. Exuberant (emotional) buying can end badly:

Price typically reverts to the mean at some point. The mean is the 21 period exponential moving average, the purple line. We don't know when it will do so, but we know that it's just a matter of time:

So if you're a long-term bull, your patience and emotions may soon be tested; if you're a short-term bull, be aware that risks are high for a sharp pullback within this strong uptrend.

In either case, get those stop losses sorted and be prepared!

NCYT will move to 200 again soon Wattie, it's very volatile so need some good cahonies for this one.

Check out COBR too, Gold miner in Aus with amazing area, similar to GGP but not moved much at all. Interview on Proactive with CEO very cool guy.

BPC will move well too with drilling in the Bahamas coming up.
