When u think silver is pivoting can u post please- I’ve got cash on sidelines.
Chaps,

An update ...

Silver (spot) has made up some lost ground over the last few days, following its bounce off the 100 SMA last Thursday. It looks poised to re-test the 50SMA and the 20SMA which have now formed a (potentially) bearish cross.

As the price action has been so volatile, I've struggled to identify a broadening formation until today. It's still early days, but here's what I'm seeing on the 30 min chart:

Price may continue to hug the upper line of the formation, or it may become exhausted and then decline. If inclined, and with a stop loss, you could have a go at targeting 25.25 from here.

Gold (spot) is almost identical in its behaviour (support at 100SMA and 50/20SMA cross too, albeit that the cross happened last week). If inclined, you could target 1920 from here

I'm doing neither as there is no trend to speak of - remember that tomorrow marks not only the end of the month, but also the end of the quarter. And there's the first presidential debate tonight.

Sometimes we just need to be patient!

They have all taken a battering over the last few weeks, and very volatile, but that's where the gains are. Wish I had a spare few K to speculate with lol.

What do people think about CINE? With the announcement all screens to close in UK and USA until next year the share price is likely to crash to <20p. By closing them should actually save money compared to running how they have been recently.
Could be a great post Covid recovery sector eventually. Share price never below £2 before, blockbuster films delayed until next year so should be good revenue quickly once open?
I'm tempted to get some, cross my fingers and not look at the price again for 6-12 months.
Always a chance they go under but I don't think that would happen. Can see a potential 5-10 bagger in the medium term?

That’s an interesting shout but it doesn’t fit with my profile.
Personally I’ll stay clear.
Who’s to say restrictions will be lifted next year and if they are would you go and sit in a cinema?

A 5-10 more obvious bagger imo will be if Trump recovers and touts “remdesivir” (Gilead) or other “experimental treatment- regeneron” (REGN) as the reason he survived.

Trading nowadays is riding the wave...... and knowing where the corruption truly is!

31 minutes into the market open, somebody has spent $2.2m on call options for MYOK (Myokardia), expiring on 16th October. The company is being bought by Bristol Myers Squibb, and price was already up 58% at the point of purchase.

What do they know that we don't??

I expect markets to fall.
Trump ceases “stimulus” talks.

Ponzi schemes rely on money. The US one has just run out of money.......for now.
To add to this we’ll have a farcical election and disputed result.

Uncertainty abounds.

Yes, I'm watching this very closely (and trying not to get my head ripped off!)

Here's the 1hr S&P chart, with potential broadening formation support lines marked:

On the daily chart, the S&P is in a volatility squeeze (marked with arrow). Whichever way this fires (long or short), it should be dramatic:

I watched as this $4.8m Nasdaq short trade was placed 6 minutes after the market opened - suspect s/he's had a good day at the office!

This is the first step against non- central bank currencies.

The Financial Conduct Authority said there is "no reliable basis for valuing cryptoassets" that act as the underlying for derivatives and exchange-traded notes”

It gets even better.

The regulator pointed out that there is a "prevalence of market abuse and financial crime, along with extreme volatility in prices, and lack of legitimate need to invest" with products like Bitcoin.

What!,,, more than fecking bankers?

1 example.

Translation- we prefer it if our banks and central banks can manipulate at will, not someone else that may provide honest value and an alternative to this centrally planned fraud.

Chaps,

Just spotted something really interesting, which I thought I'd share.

Today the pros have thrown huge bets on VIX calls (UVXY). Some of those individual trades were in excess of $1m and the screenshot below shows that only Apple has surpassed the amount in bullish options order flow. Orders of that size must be institutional.

The VIX is typically a measure of volatility, meaning that those in the know are likely anticipating a huge volatility surge.

Are they simply hedging, or do they know something's coming soon? Hold on tight!
