I wrote a few days ago there will be the ultimate short squeeze lasting days, after QE + Fiscal Bailout. Dow could easily get to 25,000 before its slow decline over months to lower than it's recent low (with less vol).
Lots of talk about rebalancing.

Your. Previous comments re month end...terrible volume too!

US JOBSS!!
Whatever the case, the longer the crisis goes on, the more jobs that will be lost. Some economists think job losses could surge to 20 million or even higher. The St. Louis Federal Reserve estimated a whopping 67 million jobs are at high risk of unemployment.

Looks like getting into bullion in my sipp is not going to be easy... and opening a new one not easy either, staff of providers isolating, working from home, using **** internet phones etc being my experiences so far..... plus resistance from some wanting me to do it via an IFA, large fees, I could go on.... not easy, but I’ll keep looking.

Anyway. I can easily invest in my existing sipp, into this, with a few clicks:

GOLD BULLION SECURITIES SECURED UNDATED ZERO CPN NOTES (USD)

I don’t know really what this is. Like I’ve said before I’m amateur. Can anyone explain it, and what are the pros and cons vs physical gold, other than the obvious pro of no storage or delivery?

It appears not... lots of pictet funds, equities, regions, emerging markets, biotech, but not that one :(

Can you tell me anything about the bullion securities thing I mentioned before? What it is, how it works?

Well that was quite a week and a big Dow drop to end.
Some observations.

Central banks are throwing the kitchen sink at this, more debt to fix a debt problem is just ultimately making it worse.

The stimulus package to Americans of a grand or so isn’t enough. It was almost a diversionary ruse to hide the billions in bailouts to corporate America who had been buying their own stock previously- making them billions in the process.Outrageous.
Fed balance sheet expected to double to over 10 Trillion.
US covid cases doubling every 3 days.....next Tuesday, 200,000.
US unemployment expected to hit 10,000,000 soon.....14 million work in hospitality alone.
UK credit rating downgraded.
Riots starting in China....

I can’t see any light at the end of the tunnel- yet.

Regardless of the source or author we all know that much of the sentiment or majority of it is pretty true.

This sums up some of the US population IQ level:

I feel like I’m living the script of Trading Places with gold replacing Frozen Concentrated Orange Juice and toilet rolls replaying Pork Bellies.

Randolph, Mortimer, what have you done this time?

Feeling good Billy Ray? Looking good Louis.
