Thanks guys, great advice, and keith, that setup is awesome!
As you say that on a Maserati forum ;) I think that is actually the point, spend money on small ones, not big ones that have to come home on a rollback after the brake line ruptures :(. That was today, the good news is I managed to get the car stopped without hitting anything, and Scuderia Car parts had them for $18.

There are some great (Scalextric) Maserati Granturismo race cars to buy. Apologies in advance to reminding you of this.....

The collection of Scalextric cars is the closest I will get to owning anything really exotic.
I have several McLaren's, a couple of Bentley's, Aston Martin, and the Maserati GT amongst my collection. Some years ago I got a limited run twin pack - aMercedes SLR and a Bugatti Veyron. Definitely the closest I will get to owning something like one of those. Regrettably amongst all the Slot Car manufacturers, and there are quite a few, nobody makes a model of a Ghibli - Diesel or otherwise!!

Changed again...Took some bends out but made one long feck off straight. Much better as you can get thwack end out nicely on the 911 coming out of the last bend. He sad am I....

Hey, thanks to all for the advice and piks. After I get the brakes sorted on the Mas I will start to put together a set. Yep there are some great Maserati to be had, those 250fs look really nice, of course the 4200s and GTs too. Does anyone know if there is a 1967-69 Cooper Maserati F1 made? Anyway, you guys stay safe over there, Ryan, its great to hear you are out of the woods:)!

You want to get some outer borders for those curved sections. Also why not consider digital, it opens up loads more racing possibilities, although albeit at a cost!!

Will probably go digital when I get the permanent set-up, the problem is getting chips for all my current cars
