Looking for a set of coolant hoses for my 3200 GTA, can someone please tell me the difference between S1 and S2 sets of hoses?

Series 1 cars only ie: before chassis number 4783
Not for the series 2 or Assetto Corsa (AC) variants.

I have a 2001 3200 and I also have the silver pots shown and an ODBII port, so I would agree with the last picture that this is series 2 and also that I am not sure Maserati were organised enough to change over at a set chassis number, its more likely a bit of a hotch potch.

Expect for the later air pump system cars which do change on a chassis number , Id say all the coolant hoses on all models are the same!

Yeah, there seem to be more hoses in the S2 kit, looking, the S1 kit doesn't include any of the heater hoses or the ones that feed the turbo's, why that should be I don't know are they different?, I fitted the S2 hoses, and the only one that wasn't included was the hose from the expansion tank to engine.

Mine is a 2001 GTA, chassis number 3588, has the 2 silver pots shown on the picture, the later air pump system and OBDII port, hence 2 series.

Surprised no 4200/GS kit.
The oldest now 16 years old should really be looking to change all the hoses out.
I'd change all mine and fit a new header tank for good measure, no idea the cost if using the original type rubber hoses from Maserati.

I started a thread about this a while back - consensus was we'd have to use someone's whole hose set as a donor to get a company to make copies up. Quite a big job and I imagine not many will be keen but something we'll have to think about as a group soon.
