Over in Tokyo for England France game.........bugger.

However this was Tokyo station last evening trying to get out on the Shinkansen. Took an hour and a half from here to make it onto a train to Kyoto.

Unfortunately not. Been doing tourist stuff in Kyoto today but weather getting rough. Hunkering down in hotel now and then back to Tokyo once it has passed, then home once flights sort themselves out.

At least it’s cool now. I was in Kyoto last summer and it was 40c with humidity off the scale - hard work seeing the sights especially given how spread out they are. Shinkansen was excellent.

Very humid at times. Hoping to see a bit more of Kyoto tomorrow but got to canoe weather this afternoon. Braced in hotel with Asahi and snacks

I'm surprised that a bit of wind and rain has stopped top flight rugby. When I were a kid it was mandatory to play footie in it at school in Manchester.
