Me again. Each year around this time I reach out in an increasingly futile attempt to procure a rosso centennial coupe with carbon bonnet, I know this divides opinion but I for one think it suits very well. Hope everyone is well and looking forward to some normality, and as always if any one knows of any please let me know, again living in hope.

All the best, B.

Good luck!

(have you tried looking more often thank once each year..?)

PS - give Nareman at Nuvola, Matt at SportsItalia and Dicky at Richard Grace a shout, get them to keep their ears to the ground.

To increase your chances just a little, if one comes up but with a Rosso painted bonnet, vinyl wrap it.
Or sand it off and lacquer the CF.

One word of warning, if you spec a bare bonnet from the factory, it costs something like £10k more than a painted CF bonnet. This is because the Cf weave has to be perfect, whereas if its painted they are more relaxed about the quality of the weave.

Or craft a hard top and stick it on:

https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2018-maserati-grancabrio-mc-centennial-edition (complete with unpainted CF bonnet).

On a more serious note, given this may or not even still exist, contact the factory and provide your details to be passed by the factory to the existing owner, if there is one.

But by the far most likely way to get wind of this is from one of the aforementioned specialist dealers who may come across it.

6 owners and still under 10K miles - what's the matter with it?
Eb

I was thinking that. Or what is wrong with the owners?

6 owners covering an average of less than1500 miles each in 5 years.

I think I did over a 1000 miles in my first month of ownership!

The more a given car is viewed as a trophy purchase the more it is subject to people buying it on a whim for reasons which 6-12 months later they struggle to understand or even recall. Multiply that a bit more for a convertible which begins to look like a strange purchase once there is frost on the ground and it is easy to see how you get multiple owners in a short space of time. This mentality keeps Ferrari dealers in business on £15-20k gross turns each time. Occasionally that fairy dust sprinkles down to dealers selling Maseratis' as well albeit at a lower price point and margin.

or shift it as soon as a service is due and you baulk at paying >£2k for something you have yet to drive more than a few hundred miles.

Or it could have been clocked back in miles. UK has quite a few mobile clockers advertised on google. Some saying Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati etc.

I doubt it's been clocked. 10k in 3-4 years isn't unusual - remember that last year was bolloxed. You can check from the TCU, if I remember correctly. Or I may have made that up. Anyway, I'm pretty sure a proper tech can find out the correct mileage. My Vantage is the same age and hasn't done that many more miles.

Buy it on finance, drive it straight to SportsItalia for a thorough check, if anything isn't right drive it straight back to Amari and if they won't deal with it unleash the hounds of **** (including the finance company). And then pay off the finance, if you like.

@beararse Rosso Centennial coupe sans exposed CF bonnet is up for sale which I am sure you probably already know.

Long since sold:
