Another icon perished, Saw him regularly in the 80's a bit less in the 90's and maybe a couple of times in the last 22 years. He had very much his own style of playing, likend to a plucking chicken at times but oh boy could he play!

Wilco gone...

Sad news.
Will always remind of the Dr Feelgood performance on the OGWT with Roxette. It’s often forgotten that he’d left by the time Dr Feelgood had their two biggest hits, Down To The Doctors and Milk And Alcohol.
So long Wilko.

RIP Wilko, friend went to see him recently and the show was stopped as he became ill on stage

Dr Feelgood one of my favourite bands with Milk & Alcohol being the track, love to hear the girls play it Kirsty loves the off beat drumming and Hannah loves the finger stretches on the Guitar parts

RIP. He did well to live on those extra years. The Julian Temple documentary on his mindset after the tumour removal was very moving.

Saw him at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival in May 2015, with Dylan Howe and the wonderful Norman Watt-Roy - still going strong a couple of years after his cancer diagnosis.
