I'm glad that these older bands are still playing, I want to see as many older bands before THEY die...The rolling stones are on my 'Critical' list but at £250 a ticket makes you realise to see them before the promoters get greedy with 'their' golden goose.

They still do it because they can, and they like it, not for any critical acclaim as such. I'm still playing in pubs etc. just grateful that I can.

Seriously?? I’ve watched a few songs from the concert and he doesn’t miss a note. Maybe not as strong but given that he’s 987 years old, and the gig lasted for 2.5 hours.
Maybe some on here criticizing his performance should watch the usual drivel on BBC or GMB. They’d feel more at home. What is the world coming to.
No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. If there is a h#ll. Or, if there are many versions of h#ll. One version is being strapped to a chair and forced to watch GMB. Like the Ipcress File. Only worse.

Been to see George Benson (79) and Gladys Knight (72) recently and both can still belt them out. Probably not as good as they were in their heyday but can still sing well. One of them should have got the Legends slot - I've only heard one song from Diana Ross on the radio this morning and it was awful. Didn't think Paul did too badly but he couldn't sing at the Olympics 10 years ago and definitely can't now.

What oh why cant music legends like Dianna Ross and Paul McCartney retire gracefully.
Had to keep turning off the Glastonbury coverage off as they murder their own songs.
Its like a bad karaoke night at my local.
A good marketing strap line for your business Sam

The brothers Reid were really rocking the John Peel Stage on Friday night. The Jesus & Mary Chain siblings are 60 and 63 years young.

Saw them live in Coventry and Brum many years ago, a couple of nights to remember. Amazing to think 'Psychocandy' was released thirty eight years ago!

Saw The Stones at Wembley back in 1990 and everyone thought they were getting on then. £22 including the coach trip down to the Smoke! Happy days.
