Replacing the Audio System.

I'm going to be replacing the factory fitted audio system. Becker Mexico with the CD Changer. I'm finding the lack of USB and Bluetooth just too irritating, though I'm enjoying the CD multichanger as I still enjoy the physical media as the sound of MP3 is not so good as a CD. Anyway is there anything tricky in the audio connections I should be aware of? I'm assuming the aerial is in the heated rear window? I'll probably get a Pioneer unit with DAB and a single CD slot. So I'll need to fit a DAB aerial.

Any suggestions for head units welcome :) I'll keep the Becker just in case I ever sell the car, which I doubt very much.

Cheers

Should be straightforward. The Mexico has 2 ISO connectors and a proprietry Becker connector solely for the CD Changer. It's very easy (Amazon/EBay) to get adapter leads from the car ISO plugs to Pioneer or whatever make you choose if it doesn't have ISO itself.

Do not be fooled into wondering what the need for the automatic aerial supply is (in the ISO connector A). You are correct that the aerial is in the heated rear window but as such it needs an amplifier which draws its power from the automatic aerial connection.
