I have finally got around to doing this, A friend of mine is doing this for me next Friday, and although he knows his Masser's inside out he has never done this and thought (as others) it would be a straight forward swap! I know a few on here in the past have done this and have mentioned it is not that straight forward. Can anybody tell me what needs to be done/any special tools etc. or even better, have any photo's of this change over so that I can pass on this information to him?.............Many thanks in advance.

I imagine part of the fight will be with siezed/rusted fastenings.

Good luck sure she will look great once done

I had this this done back in 2014 with my avatar car.

You will need to remove the front bumper to get at the fixings (mine was done at Autoshield).

Most of the holes do not line up with the two types of splitter and you will need some hand-clamps to hold things in place to align properly.

Use an old duvet to rest the bumper on to avoid scratches and change all the bulbs to the fog/side/indicator whist you are in there.

Thanks saf!

I also got a quote from Russ at Autoshield for £300 which seemed pretty reasonable! I'm sure my mate will be fine with this and Warrington isn't as much of a PITA to get to!

About time too Stu! not sure how the 4200 one is fitted, but when I took the one off my GS I found that a dremel type tool was invaluable for cutting the heads off the bolts, which you don't stand a hope in ****'s chance of undoing!
