Red Warning Light

Got one today in the QP, basically a red rectangle bottom right of info screen, got the manual out from boot, says 'number plate light out' but in the book it's coloured yellow. It's disappeared now, lights are all working. Wonder if it's a book error or red means big error!

Welcome to the wonderfull world of Italian car’s. These car’s just show all their features (warning lights) now and than, so you know they work, but only if they stay on after a reset you should be worried! But you are right, for a defective light the yellow triangle would normally light-up, so maybe the car also noticed a fatal error somewhere. But as long as a reset/ re-start cures is, no worries!

I was in the middle of one! A64, ragging it...

Checked and checked again, no defective lights and no warning lights now. I know they come on for no reason sometimes, Lord knows I've had my share of them, I was more interested in why this one was a red rectangle when the owners manual says it should be a yellow rectangle!
