Rear shock absorber removal

Hi,
I may have missed this but is there a guide anywhere to removing the rear shocks on a 4200 GT. I have removed all the boot liner gubbins but there appears to be virtually no access to the top of the shocks either side of the fuel tank. In fact as far as I can see along the top of the wheel arches there are no obvious fixings for the shocks -- is there another way in?

Not sure on 4200 but on 3200 I managed to get to near side from boot area by side of tank and off side I took fuel filler neck screws out and pushed to one side and used long extension bar I think it is 3 or 4 13 mm bolts , if I recollect any more will post ,
