Rear Parking Sensor refixing

Cleaning the crud off the parking sensors, one popped from its aperture and is inside the bumper.
I can retrieve it with wire and hook, but there isn't a means of pressing it back in the hole other than from inside.
Having removed the boot lining, the bumber interior isn't accessible from there.
Is it a boot underskirt removal to access the parking sensors?

Given what Emblem said to me about replacing them on the rear, it sounds like you have to take it off to be able to fix them in
Have you thought about glueing something to the sensor and pull it into place?

I did think of that.
I've just had the dealer confirm that it's a bumper off job. Quite quick to be done next week as part of the two year service.
