As I'm in Ireland for a while, trip on ferry (hope I get the YB Yeats!) I reached here for some cheapos to get me around and home and found these...

Promised they fit QPV rears. 11 Euro, 9 quid! We'll see. they'll do for a month. New disks and pads waiting back home...

They arrived today, and blow me (not a cry for help) they are Mintex! For £9! Might order some fronts for future....

Does anyone know the correct part numbers for the Ferodo pads front and rear on a 4.7 MC?

I think it’s the DS2500 I’m looking for with part numbers FRP3100H (front) and FCP1348H (rears)
Just came across the DS3000 and not sure of the difference between the two sets other than sizes!

Thanks in advance,

DS2500 is a racing compound. You can buy different racing compounds, DS3000 and DS3500. They aren’t R90 compliant so not road legal as they are too “good”. The H at the end of the part number denotes the compound so a FRP3100”H” is the 2500 compound. The others have different letters at the end. The numbers you quote are correct. Allegedly.

Thanks Zep, so is it just the DS2500’s that are road legal or are you saying none are?

Was hoping to go with Ferodo pads in place of the OEM

DS2500 and up are all racing pads. There is a DS performance option which is road legal, that’s a different part number (FDS4212 for the front).

In terms of whether anyone will ever check your pads, that is something else entirely. Has anyone ever heard of brake pads being checked for their origins?

Certainly have Zep.
Importing 3 cars and one motorcycle into NZ.
It was only the Maserati and the BMW bike that the brakes passed.
My Fiat 500 and Mini 1275 had to have new brakes fitted for compliance.

Indeed. But with the exception of import / export and the requirement to be asbestos free I’ve not known it.
