Need a pair, asked before but lost track and the then deals have gone, any leads?

They're vented and cross-drilled, one is ok, the other on the limit, I should replace the pair....

If they’ve worn significantly differently you might have a stuck caliper.

WHS, discs shouldn't wear significantly differently across an axle unless there is an issue, might be worth checking before the same happens again

They're both worn about the same, one slightly more than the other ie one will pass MOT, the other won't - I will do both, I just wonder why I have cross-drilled on the rear since my car is an Exec GT, could be the 'Sports Pack' mentioned on the build sheet....

My local indy did the check before I set off to France in the car, asked him to go over it to see if any issues that might bite me on the trip - it was just rear pads (had to replace those immediately as they were grinding - cost 9 Euro - Mintex!) I know I'll need to replace those too for 9 euro tho so no biggie. And this one disk under the limit and the other near.

I’ve just had rear ones fitted at a specialist. £198 each for the drilled ones. The fronts are 50 quid cheaper.,

Eurospares quoting me £159.24 per disc, from memory ex VAT, ex shipping so a good £400 which is on cost. Quoted me £200.71 for the pads which I though was a bit OTT, since my favoured place did my last ones (Mintex) for 9 euro or a massive 35 euro for Ferodo...

Back brakes do nowt anyway!

So. I got that; 2 Michelin Pilot Sports 4S rears and one plain 4 since no S in my size and my other recent good front is a plain 4 so I'll go with that. F1 autocentre.

Unless any other deal anyone can suggest, I'm happy with that, my first not cheap MOT in this car, due one......
