Rear discs and pads

Had the QP checked for France trip, reported that pads looking a little low and discs too on rear, I have cross-drilled ones. Before I start searching any pointers?

Some good new, I've nearly worn out one of the P-Zero's on the rear, they have 16k on them, NSR is near the limit, OSR still a fair bit on. Want to try another set of tyres on the rear as recommended here, I hate that floaty, drifting sensation crossing whites lines etc that's usually attributed to these tyres.

Front tyres pads and discs all good. Let's lock and load!

I'll chime in on your brakes.

I just did the fronts on my '13 GC. I went with the EBC Yellow Stuff pads. The fit well and bite even better. They're a little dusty but that's OK. I'll take dust over the (seemingly) longer stopping distance. These don't come with the wear sensors. I just tied my sensor up and out of the way. I'll watch the pads for wear.

On the discs, you can get one turn on the stock discs. With the drilled rotors, the machinist simply needs to slow the lathe down and they cut just fine. Now, others will likely disagree with turning the rotors and that's fine but for typical street driving, a turn is fine. If I were tracking the car, different story. I'd go with new.

Brakes are easy enough if you have the tools. I also flushed the brake fluid while she was up on my rack. It was starting to get dark.

Enjoy!58028

Cheers fellas, I’ve got a while yet so plenty of time to weigh up options, think my disks are drilled and not slotted.

I also went with EBC Yellow stuff on all 4 corners. I have yellow calipers, so they fit perfectly, as the EBC yellow is almost exactly the same as calipers.
Great stopping power, a little squeaky at the beginning, but when well worn inn almost no squeaking.
As mentioned they don't come with wear sensors, but my mechanic did get them for 20 EUR/pc.
I don't know, but would think they are original, so maybe worth asking a dealer.

EBC Yellow stuff on my rears... I had them fitted when I bought my car, so I can’t compare/contrast to the Maserati OEM spec - but the specialist I went to advised that’s what he uses and recommends on all the Maseratis that come in, much cheaper and less dust supposedly.

My experience with yellow stuff wasn’t great I must say. The was a lot of dust and bits of clag stuck to my wheels and after the initial bite over time they tailed off. DS2500 on the other hand, oh mamma, they were good. But you have to pay for it.

I Love Ferrodo DS2500. Used them on my previous couple of cars both on road and track and was very impressed!
I looked a while back for the GT-S but could only find the rears at the time. Where did you get yours?

FCP1398H as I understand it. I had them on my GS, my Strad has CCM. Tried them on a GTS with fully floating AP discs and they were mustard.
