Rear brake issues

Any advice on this little issue, noticed lately when initially pulling the GS out of the garage brakes seem, I think, to be binding up, particularly when I've washed it and put away, the car doesn't get driven as much as it should so i am suspecting the brake calipers are sticking, last time it happened seem to right itself after a few minutes driving. Is it time for a brake strip down maybe?

Sure it's not surface contamination on the discs...If you are washing it, and then parking it, oxide will build quickly on the surface of the disc... The pads may even try welding themselves to the oxidising surface...
Or, a lack of use and the piston seals are failing & fluid needs flushing....
You name it. Use it or lose it Im afraid !

Id recommend inspecting the disc surface , looking for the footprint of the pads..

I used to get this issue, now never park it with wet discs if its been washed, always take it for a quick blast after washing to dry the discs.

When I did the rear brake overall on the 3200GT in the summer, I found one of the handbrake return springs had become weak and lost its tension..
The car always seemed to stall in reverse when turning left... it turned out to be one of the handbrake shoes jamming up the disc due the worn spring!
It never happened going forward though

yes i replaced the springs on my car too, and the backing plates and the little retaining clips it helped.
