The correct answer is 'no'. :)
I disagree.
If you’re going to allow someone to make an “ARE” statement. (Fact check was requested)
You have to be prepared for someone to challenge it. Hence my “Covid-22 post.”
Dont want to upset anyone (I’m not around here much anymore) but there are 2 sides to every story.

In Nov 2021 Angelique Coetzee, part of the team that discovered the new COVID-19 strain, Omicron, said even “unvaccinated patients treated by her have had mild symptoms”

And we have done all 7 sides already. One potential misuse of the word “are” and a flurry of links is the response.

How about, “I disagree, but respect your right to your own opinion” and move on?

Sounds fine to me.

That's a good summary, yes. Brought on by their behaviour where they have moved on from speaking up about social injustice etc. to speaking up on every matter they can find a 'disadvantage', often speculative and on the potential behalf of 'others'. The comment about the parking at the holiday let is a great example of this.

That behaviour could be classed as a kind of woke 'do-gooding', I suppose, but it seems more like 'humble-bragging' - not a real (or 'woke') concern for 'disadvantage', but a form of showing off.

The 'problem' is that it all gets lumped together. Apparently calling a man bald is now sexist....

I commented on the parking of a place we stayed at. I couldn’t get over this in an E class without scratching the bottom of the car.

I fail to see much good being done, sadly. Don't get me started on the easily offended.....

A perfectly valid reason to comment based on your own experience. I was referring to sionie1's post which is an example of people speaking up/complaining/commenting on behalf of 'others', speculating on something they didn't experience:
I hate ’feedback’ like this. We had some on our holiday cottage, basically it read “ we love the cottage, everything we needed and more, would stay again. Parking might be a problem for some, we didn’t struggle to park, but some might…” wtf

Easy Jet Compensation website.

I've had to make 3 different claims for my cancelled flight. Can't they just have one form to fill out????

What, and make it easy for you to reclaim money? What a thought! Last time my bags were delayed with long-haul flights using both BA and Emirates the claims processes were arduous and involved many receipts and much scanning but ultimately turned out to be very satisfactory.

I guess they make the process as clumsy as possible so the vast majority give up and don’t bother.
BA have lost me as customer for that very reason.

I bought BA tickets for me and one son a couple of years ago, but the browser's autofill put in the wrong son's name and I failed to spot it. I tried to get them to do a name change, but no, it was just 'No name changes, no refunds (apart from the tax), you have to buy another ticket'. Even Sleasyjet was doing name changes for £40. In the end I bought another ticket in the right name. But I did not cancel the original one, as I didn't want them to re-sell the seat. One empty seat on the otherwise full plane was the only revenge I could get. Plus flying BA as rarely as possible.

I was supposed to fly BA LHR-Basel 10 days ago, but they cancelled the flight with about 10 days' notice.

I have SO MANY BA horror stories....

Geoff. There's a Facebook group easyjet complaints. They have contact details which bypasses the obfuscation. I used it 2 years ago and got the statutory refund within a week

We paid for club Europe to Malta earlier this year - service was a joke really, even wanted extra to guarantee us sitting together. I may well have to fly with them again for my own convenience, but will never upgrade.

I think I must be on that already with the flights we had to cancel when we went into lockdown.
