I’m so sorry to hear that, what an awful thing to happen to the poor boy. I really hope he starts to pull round soon.

Further update, the MRI want to transfer him to Alder Hey, the children's hospital so that they can put him on an ECMO. Basically life support. This is not looking good.

All because someone had a lot to drink, and drove their car like an a$$hole.
So sad, and like I said before the drunken driver deserves all he gets, and then some. Unfortunately some sober drivers also drive like a$$holes, and proud of it, a few less MPH can make the difference If you hit someone. Of course, we haven’t hit anyone yet, have we. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying don’t put your foot down in the right place and take your chances with the law, but never when someone might just step out. God Bless him, and the family.

complete forgot how much i fecking hate joggers that insist in running in the road when there's a perfectly good pavement, had to slow down this morning to allow an oncoming truck to go past otherwise i would have been dangerously close to jogger, i defo hate them more than cyclists that ride 2 abreast creating a tail back

As a reformed jogger, I don't quite understand why they do it!

Driving to work this morning there was pretty thick fog on the M20. And the amount of cars without any lights on was ridiculous, let alone fog lights.

Then when you pass them you see they have their daytime driving lights on.

Do these idiots not realise that it is important that people can see you in fog?

F*cking idiots!

Auto lights. I’ve got the ones on the Merc coded to permanently on as they don’t come on in fog or early enough at dusk for my liking. They do pick up if the wipers are on which is neat.

Check your settings, if not drive INTO your merc garage (through the front window seems to get their attention) and demand that they change the settings.

Main stealers again!

Medway Ford this time, working on Nick's Kuga yesterday changing the brake fluid and front pads, whilst under the bonnet I thought I'd check on the 'level of service':

Took the top off the air filter box as the screws looked like they had not been undone and sure enough it is the original filter in there.

It is a balloon payment purchase over three years and has a service care package including an annual service. The only thing is the sale is based on 7,000 annual mileage and things have changed dramatically for them and two years in it has gone over 51,000 miles! It went in for the 2nd year service last week and they told them the mileage was so high they would 'take the third service token' as well!!!!

As far as I can see they then changed the engine oil and did a visual assessment which reported the need to change the front pads and fluid.

Erm... How does that work then if they haven't done any additional work? Surely if they adjusted the service for the mileage they should have done a major service???
