so the latest with the BG drama is that although their engineer did a successful gas safe certification on 22nd November and supposedly a service on the boiler, he also noted on their system that a power flush was required at a quoted figure of £699 otherwise the cover would be cancelled and/or restricted to boiler only cover, tenants reported no heating couple of days ago, BG would not attend unless they carried out the power flush first, got my own gas safe engineer round today and traced fault to faulty PC board and all working fine now, BG are robbing sharks and beware of their "power flush" scam that seems to be rearing it's ugly head again, will be submitting my £300 invoice to BG for settlement and if not will see them in court
