Well I guess we assumed Momos was some kind of diminuative...

Rest assured it’s not a health thing, nor something to be encouraged when the NHS is struggling enough as it is IMO..

Doctor: “Sorry for the wait, we’ve been tending to tens of thousands of Corona virus patients, however I’ve left them lot to help you, what’s the problem?”

Patient (aka bored middle class momo): erm I’ve got horrendous stomach cramps ‘cos of doing Ramadamseys..

Totally agree and 3 days done and feeling good and early days I know but enjoying the experience.
For the record I'm working class and proud of it.
Guy next door swears by the 5:2 diet or whatever it is - nosh for 5 days - 2 days no food at all per week....

Not sure.....

Phil's post? Personally I don't see it as phobic at all. Did you mean someone else?

To be fair I can actually see how you thought that, however this is the problem with assumption, Its the mother of all F.. ups.

And you have absolutely assumed completely wrong..

I call everyone Momo’s, I first heard it said by a guy called Greg Valentino a nut case bodybuilder and ever since I have used it, I didn’t even make the connection to a derogatory term towards anyone..

This has nothing to do with religion but I used to suffer quite badly from gastritis and GERD, 2017/2018 was a particularly bad for me as I could barely eat a rich meal or drink alcohol without getting very sick... It ruined several social events for me. Had an endoscopy and took all the meds which ultimately did nothing to fix the problem.

Ended up trying this thing called intermittent fasting where i eat two meals over 8 hours per day and my stomach is stronger than ever... I used to go to the GP every month or two and now i haven't been for years

Lost any weight?

Certainly have which I'm guessing is fluids but the flab as I call it where a 6 pack should be is disappearing rapidly.
I'm not using the cross trainer during this and just taking a daily stroll off 4 kilometres around the neighborhood.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's not fluid. Well done

As asked by Chris @CatmanV2 how am I spending my time during the fasting ?
I'm very lucky to have been spending the last 5 years of my life with a very special lady and life is very good.
We talk lots especially as we are getting ready to get started on our own French home.
Nothing strenuous going on as pretty well under house arrest here but certainly enjoy a nice stroll around the neighborhood.
Listening to a lot of good music and just being in a peaceful space.
Never done anything like this before so didn't know what would unfold but we are both feeling great.

Cheers. I was more curious as to why you get up at 0400 'to fast' given most of us don't eat while we sleep :)
Clearly if you were a Muslim you'd be getting up for prayer. Are you getting up to have breakfast? That hadn't occurred to me.
