A bit too Max Power for me....depends how old you are, as it's not very discreet!

Italian flag sort of works on a white car but I don't think it'd work on a silver car

Looks good on white but not sure on silver....Matt's idea may work better...

There is this one running around Sydney ...

Or the fat stripe, this one is from Japan

I've considered the second one. The Italian stripes are a bit too Italian for me.

Cool - thanks fellas.

Kind of a delicate thing to get right I guess as I want to still retain its elegance... without it becoming a Fast and Furious Boy Racer.

Was thinking maybe a white stripe on silver may work as well - much like that GranSport pic Bruce.

Or maybe just leave it as is and go for a Larini exhaust upgrade.

When I've had one two many, I often consider a cream strip for marci........thankfully when the effects wear off, I discount that idea ;) Totally a personal preference but think the GT suits these makeovers less than the older girls, MAF's car a good example, if anything, the strip has toned it down! Lol

I've considered the second one. The Italian stripes are a bit too Italian for me.

The stripe on that GT is awful! I'm sure it's straight, but it makes a dig's dinner of the curvy lines of the car. The 'GranTurismo' script makes it look even more naff!

The silver stripe on the black GS is very similar to mine:

Mr Crud of this forum has also done a great job on his GTS with a subtle, but very effective stripe. I'm sure he'll post some pics for you.

Morning, Forum. That photo of the Flying Banana always make me smile. What an epic week! Anyway, back on topic:

If you want to know what a lighter stripe would look like, here's one where the light caught it in a most peculiar way:

Liking the Flying Banana and Crud's example.

Very nice.

Remember first seeing the Banana GS on Contigo's Le Mans video.

Bloody epic.

I had a load of stickers put on mine for Le Mans 2015 (sorry, didn't go with this forum) including a racing stripe.

I took all the stickers off when I got home but kept the racing stripe on until the end of the summer. I got quite attached to it and was sad to see it go!

Wasn't this sort of thing called a "go faster stripe" in days of yore? ..and accompanied by furry dice? :)

I've been thinking about having a racing stripe on my GS. A white one, to against the med blu. Do you think it'd look decent or a bit 'look at him, trying too hard'?

For super-subtle try clear satin. Or a darkish silver could look pretty good to tie in with the wheels.

No, they do actually go faster. Plus also attracts more and more beautiful women.

Well, that's what the chap who stuck it on told me.
