Quicksilver Supersport Exhaust droning. Any advice?

I have just had Quicksilver Supersport rear boxes which I am very pleased with but....there is a droning at certain revs. Need centre section? Sports Cat or remove them completely? I don't drive it every day so not an issue if it becomes even louder to remove droning sound. Any help would be great. Regards Adam

Get rid and go back to standard exhaust.

Fit Sports Cats and an H pipe and I guarantee you won’t be able to hear anything including yourself think

I had the same problem with my Quicksilver supersport back boxes. Ended up selling to Robin on here for half price and fitted the Sportsmaserati back boxes.

i am not sure what type of back boxes i have but there was a drone when i first installed them. I wrapped them in heat tape (the white cloth stuff) and also lined the inside of thr rear bumper area around the back boxes with some adhesive lined energy absorbing foam sheet and this removed the drone to the point i dont really notice it. I think the drone is to do with the resonating panels around the back boxes, so if you dampen the panels and also stop the sound getting out in the first place it improves it a lot. or just buy different back boxes!!!
