Rob /Rossy oem Gransport rear boxes have valves as standard, its real easy to fit either Gransport boxes or any valved system to a 4200 and either have it operated integral with the sportmode or independantly , the solenoid valves are available through any dealer or eurospares , i believe Larini now do there own kit

Never ever noticed any cabin resonance/boominess with the Larini's ( but i have got the full entire system)

On my 4200 i had Tubi 's lovely burble and not toooooo intrusive generally , but at 2200 -2500 revs it caused slight resonance which used to make the handbrake handle vibrate ( kaz was very gratefull at times lol ) 2500 was cruisng speed around here and occasionally got on my pip , remedied by some rather unessassary gear changes hahahahaha

My advice pay the extra and go for a valved system, least when you want to be a model citizen and civilized you can

For those that mght be interested i have a rather shiny set of Gransport rear boxes sitting on a shelf in my garage

Yeah standard oem boxes , came from my car before Larini did the R and D and developed and fitted the full system, polished them up and bathed them in oily rags and boxed em up , i would say 60% of the noise of the Larini worth asking others but i'd say that was a fair assessment, all stainless aswell , was looking for a monkey , but after Chelsea's game last night sounds like that term has become politically incorrect aswell ...... oh bolllocks

Forgot to say , the GS tips are visually exactly the same as the 4200 's

Ooooo I'd be soo tempted with a set of GS Backboxes, especially if they make a standard 4200 sound beautiful with the valves.

Only problem is ........... Oh yeah don't have a 4200 yet ;-)

Haha

Hi Nico, is that correct? Longer tips than the GS also? Can't think why they would be different to the GS given the rear bumper is the same? Regards, Miles.

I sold a 4200 supersport to an owner of a mc victory and the tips where realy too short. So we developed a special exhaust for this car. But I think the gs is same.

Hello Here is a short video (will do better soon) to see the difference of sound adding recently a center section to my 4200 (rear sport quicksilver)

Rear section only was:

Now center +rear
