Lovely QPV for sale (apart from the yellow calipers, obvio, but that is easily fixed). Presumably someone on here?

Makes me wonder about what are the 'right' things to say in an ad...

Taking pics at SportsItalia might be appealing to the right sort of buyer. As is a long (and expensive) list of work done. But probably puts off the naive buyer, who hasn't looked into the challenges of Maserati ownership too much. Maybe an extensive list works for a private sale, but is off-putting for dealer sale? Dunno.

Very nice and has had the conversion of the gril which suits the car much better than the convex. just needs the engine cleaned poperly, otherwise looks like a decent buy.

I think Matt posted this car a few months back as for sale but think it was up for about 24k which was probably a bit much with the miles even though the car is probably the best 4.7 for sale with the work that has been done. I think if someone is looking for a 4.7S it feels like this is the one to go and look at which is currently on sale. Thing is usually if you are buying one of these you are in the know and will have done your homework so I think the advert works.

Certainly a Stunning car and Great buy with all the maintenance and pampering to keep it in fine fettle for the next custodian.

Pricey for a 4.2 I'd say.
appreciating assets! Good value compared to the boring new stuff most manufacturers are turning out! A friend with his own business went to close a deal on an i4 BMW (tax efficient) but had to walk away. The thought of spending either £70k or £1k per mth rental on something so dull just seemed wrong.

Did a quick check on US Autotrader out of morbid curiosity, and "oldest" currently listed was a 2014 at roughly the same number USD...which surprised me, because it seems like the value is better in rightpondia on these cars...

Does anyone know the car below please? On the face of it a great price.

I think this was one discussed a few years back: https://www.sportsmaserati.com/index.php?threads/2010-qp-v-sport-gts-for-sale.32726/

Also a video of it here:

MOT history suggests the headlamps have some issues... not sure if it's an easy fix? Last service was in Nov '20 which would concern me a little...

@dickygrace is the final word when it comes to values of these, but I think it's reasonable (external cosmetic mods aside...) IF the car doesn't need thousands to bring it up to scratch.

Looks like the one that was on one of the auction sites a couple of years back, maybe the bonhams one. Looked a decent car but you never know of course!

Plus, personally, I think it would look a lot better with silver wheels, you can hardly see those!

And yes, it’s a pretty keen price for 40k miles, but maybe it’s a marmite colour scheme, although I quite like it apart from the wheels.

Edit- makeshift just confirmed the auction thing!

I really like it and did when it was for sale in that auction a few years ago. Cheap for a Sport GTS but you never know what lies beneath. Get it inspected and if all turns out Ok it’s a good price.

I remember the car but don’t remember the full story about it. I have one coming next week too, but certainly won’t be that cheap, good ones seldom are.

I like the leather colour combo, wheels could well be better in the flesh , I dont think the photo s do the wheels justice but thats a trivial issue nothing a couple of hundred quid wont put right ,If it ticks the mechanical inspection boxes its priced competitively

I love the black leather with the sliver/white alcantara inserts but one thing that would need to go is that great steering wheel. That would need a return.
