Quattroporte Vs Listed For Sale

Lovely looking car. The photos of the outside are enhanced as my 4200 was the same, and looked nothing like that even after a pro detail.

Would love to have this on the drive.
Correct, substantial use of 'clarity' slider in Lightroom.

It will be tarted up or wrapped then back on the market at c£19k in a few weeks.

Sadly not everyone will put it back to as new, just shiny enough to brag to mates.

Not quite sure who that appeals to as it easily needs atleast 20k worth of work doing what with a respray, wheel refurb plus whatever is needed to get it up to roadworthy standard mechanically
If I read DVLA correctly:

It had a clean MOT history up to and including January 2020 when the mileage was recorded at 76,800.
The next MOT was in April 2026 when it comprehensively failed, and the mileage was recorded at 93,902.
Offshore for a while maybe, whacked the miles on and then laid it up, or...? (I'm sure that Dickie will have some idea.)
The Tax was due in April 2026 which is a puzzle.
The seller has other cars listed on Ebay and seems to be up front with the condition of this one, but clearly knows it's not a run of the mill car, so I'm wondering if it was taken as a part-ex and they're just offloading it.

A whole packet of brave pills needed for sure, but for someone who's looking for a rare keeper it might be worth a punt and there's a fair few bids already. I do hope it doesn't get wrapped and flipped, or end up on ootoob.

Yeah it’s a strange one. I’m a little surprised at the number it’s already on. I guess it’s a cheap way into a Sport GT S but to do it properly, it’s gonna need a fair bit of money thrown at it. I mean my car passed its MOT and it still needed 5k spending on it at its last service. A proper paint job on a car of that size isn’t cheap so yeah unless someone is going to wrap it, it doesn’t make sense. Prob needs 12-1500 on new tyres and a wheel refurb. Interior looks like it might be ok with a decent valet. I was considering it as a parts car but it’s gone beyond what I would pay now

Agree with all the above. I don't know the car for once, but I too am surprised at the figure it's on already. I'm just doing some minor prep on a 40k mile example that'll be £26k. I tend to spend around £5k on prep on an outstanding example. This one will require at least £10-15k spend in order to get a £15k car out of it at the end. Only makes sense as a labour of love, someone who owns a paintshop or Maserati shop, and has no concern over resale value. I speak from experience when I believe it's already way overpriced.

Interesting.

It’s a bold interior choice, but looks a nice car.
Red leather always photographs badly though. Wonder if it would have been wiser to fit new brakes all round and maybe an aircon compressor to boost the price so any buyer would have (maybe!) nothing to do?
Be interesting to see what it goes for, it’s still a low mileage GT S after all !

My guess is £27k plus fees.
