I’m in South Africa, it’s mid-summer here, around 32C at the moment, although being in the Cape it can change quickly.

Still driving strong after 14 years. Reached a cool mileage yesterday driving back from Gatwick Long Stay parking after sitting dutifully for 15 days, started up first time! ❤️

Number plate lights. The original LED replacements I had fitted were fine with correct resistor load, but new ones I fitted myself (after they expired) clearly needed different load. Lights work fine but car correctly thinks the bulbs not working.

What a view. I did a couple of mins post processing for you. I could do the glare but that would take longer.

It’s the coastal road from Gordon’sBay to Rooi Els, spectacular. You can just make out Table Mountain above the boot (in my pic).

Beautiful! I think it’s lens glare from my iPhone - I was taking it straight into the sun. I took one of the sun shimmering in the ocean afterwards. It was so peaceful, some seals sunning on the rocks below, last time I saw a pod of dolphins feeding.

There you are jealous of our events/meets but you are fighting back with some glorious scenes! iPhone cameras have come a long way but they are limited and shooting straight into the sun is always difficult.

My friend who brings in lots of cars from Japan took his latest 22 year old 156 for an MOT this morning (off the boat yesterday) and sent these shots. If only we didn't salt the roads may be we would have more decent cars on the road?

Went in beginning of year to Iceland, and guess what, apparently they don't salt their roads.

Speaks volume that of UK approach to winter weather, wrong type of snow perhaps
