Hi All

Just after some info, does anyone know if the full leather seats were an optional extra or was the part suede/alcantara seats and steering the optional extra?

Looking at another GTS and it has part leather.

Thanks

Alcantara seat inserts were standard, full leather an option. Steering wheel in leather standard; Alcantara, Piano Black or Carbon Fibre were options.

It is more desirable if anything so not the case. I assume you’re considering this car which if it passes an inspection is a great deal:

I would be pursuing it myself but I had a call from a chap from this forum the other day who’s after one, so I pointed him towards it and stepped aside.

Thats the car, just called them back to arrange viewing and its had a deposit put on it! Buggar!

Thanks as always Richard for the information and advice.

That’s probably the chap I spoke to the other day. Car about £5k underpriced IF it’s a clean car.

Definitely looks good, dealer sells from home so no warranty and said you can always get your own....but if the car is as good as it sounds then who cares....

Mine is having some work done/has had some done but its a daily driver I have done 4000 miles in 6 weeks of which I have been out of the UK for 2. I do about 50k a year. But I can see me keeping one of these in the collection for years.

Also just purchased this last week after selling the same car in black having done 60K in 12 months on the clock. I don't like having a mile muncher for motorway driving only as I find it such a pain swapping cars over from daily to weekend.

good idea, they really are fantastic cars. I also use mine as a daily and pleased to hear nothing bad happened to your current one; it looked so nice in the photos earlier this year

Thanks Richard.

So would a car with alcantara be valued lower?

Abid

Leather was a No Cost Option, so should have no effect on value. But personally, on a GTS I much prefer the alcantara inserts, so for me leather would decrease the value.

But it's all a bit theoretical. As the seats inserts are way down the list of things to worry about when buying a second hand Maserati!
