Anyone on here the owner of the latest Quattroporte Gransport?

Me and Mrs W are toying with the idea of changing our family daily (Range Rover Sport) for a fast 4 door saloon, and then swapping my Mini Cooper for a dog carrier / smaller SUV as my station car....

There is no Quattroporte Gransport - do you mean QP GTS? They are nice but no Duo-select so personally I've no interest.....

Not the latest Jon, but I have a pre-facelift petrol QP S. PM me if you wish.

Your welcome to try my Jag XJL SuperSport Jon. I'm not selling it but I can recommend one as an option to a QP. although of course I do recommend a QP too!

I will have my ultra reliable indestructible XC90 V8 outgoing soon as well if you want a cheap do it all SUV. A 315bhp V8 petrol SUV for circa 5k with one previous owner and full Volvo main dealer history from new. Not a small SUV mind but not the biggest in comparison to the modern SUV beasts.

Sounds interesting... in the event I decide to sell the Mini there could even be an interesting part ex deal to be done. However, given I’m just about to buy a GTT exhaust for it, I’m thinking it might become a 2nd toy car...

First step is to get the wife to drive a few saloons, as she’s been in a high up SUV for a while (Discovery and RRS), so might find it strange to be back down at ground level... if she’s ok with it, then I plan to have a close look at an E class AMG as the family car, and explore other interesting 4 door options

Good plan. Keep the Mini....got to be worth having a lite toy car

It is on my list to get an R53 Cooper S as soon as the opportunity arises. Happy to chat about a part ex deal if the moons align.

I've had a couple of AMG Estates and they are real Q cars. I suspect you are talking 212 E63's? I had the SC 211 E55K'S. Very different power deliveries but both cracking cars. Plenty of choice on fast interesting saloons out there. What kind of budget you thinking?

I wanted to replace the XC90 and wife's Freelander 2 with a new shape XC90 but she was unconvinced and wanted. Disco Sport. Finally got one last week so Freelander gone. The XC90 has just had service at main dealer, full wheel refurb, brake discs and pads all round. Just need to give it a good details, polish, wax and general clean up and will be good to go.

PM me the details on this, I’m interested.

I tried to save myself a few quid and convince the wife to use it and we sell the FL2 without buying something else. I said it isn't that much bigger but she was having none of it!

It's the one on the left

There is a QP Gransport in the latest range. It's just a trim level on the latest car......Yes sad isn't it. That greT name used to donate some spec on a four door barge rather than a sporting Coupe. Looks nice though. Rather mean looking.

Here's one...
