Quattroporte Exhaust Options

Hi all, recently bought a 2008 QP GTS and just back from a 3,000 mile Alpine road test.
The car is fantastic although I would prefer a little more roar in the cabin, especially with the
windows up (Its cold up north).
I'm favouring buying some 4.7 gts back boxes, it appears they will fit but has anyone actually done this mod?
How did they sound with the 4.2 engine?
Any advise would be appreciated.

I would pay for something switchable.....if you get it wrong the drone could prove tiresome.....

I think that my exsiting exhaust is already valved so was assuming initially that the sport button would control it?

I agree about going switchable but thought it was only the 4.7 engine that came with this.

FWIW it doesn't matter whether you have a 4.2 or 4.7 from the point of sound - plenty of 4200/GS with sports exhausts which sound great.

I should probably double check that I already have the valves first. It's definitely louder in sport mode so I assume something's happening.
