Yup - beginning to think I should have kept it to myself - I need to try a QP, Heart says next car should be a GT but common sense says I need 4 doors and looking round there are a lot of good QP's under 30k!!!

The extra doors are just more weight! Loads of room in the back of a GT (once you're in there).

I know a few people that have/had Vantages and moan about how wearing they are to drive especially the clutch on the manuals which are apparently very heavy. Worth a longish drive if you can I think.

I know it's low miles but 38k for a coming up to 8 year old QP, really ,no wonder it's been around a while

Put some miles on it and it'll lose 15k in a year

Had 2 vantages in the past 4 years great cars but not smooth to drive. Notchy gearboxes, interior isn't great! Special car to look at and surprisingly reliable!

I had mine for 8.5yrs. Never had any issues (incl. long stints across Europe). Nor did the wife and she's only 5ft 4in (and no Fatima Whitbread build).

They're great cars. But very different to a GT. At sub-40k they are a lot of car for the money.

Mind you, those bemoaning the tech in a GT won't be hugely impressed with an early V8V :)

If anyone needs specific info on them, I'm happy to help.

Yes, a stunner. See they have upgraded the front grill to a GTS one which looks much better.......Just need to wheels changed...Never liked that design.

As the resident old git on this forum I could be upset (but I am not! - so there!)
