Agree Wattie,or even it the seats had a light stitching or piping. At least it has the carbon inside as once that's shiny it does break up the black. Still at 16995 I think I would put up with the black.

Never really noticed before Wack61 but yes you are right......but then I suppose you don't buy one of these for the sat nav

The cars are still beautiful at over a decade old but boy does that satnav look ancient
One of the few things that I'm not too fond of on my car, the display in the instrument cluster is a higher res, the text is white, all rather civilised.

Why blue and orange was chosen for the main display is beyond me! The display is capable of looking nice - the booting logo is nice.
But if it's any consolation the set nav in my brothers old 997 shares this colou scheme, but functonality is even worse!

Struggle to understand this point... I just listen to the voice prompts with any sat nav (and I have had 100s of rental cars to try) Any graphics on the screen are there to entertain passengers.

Satnav is the last thing on my mind with any car. I could get into a car with the best satnav in Christendom and I'd either (a) not need it because I usually know where I'm going, or (b) I'd use a TomTom that I'm instantly familiar with.

Satnav in a car is like engineering in obsolescence.

If I possibly can, I buy cars without satnav.

Yes, I know, I'm in the minority.

I buy cars because they make me feel good and turn a commute into an occasion, and a new journey into an adventure.

My point was a satnav in a car really dates them , the rest of the dash can look quite modern but then there's a lump of low res screen right in the middle of it
