Still looks no better no matter how much I look at it. Think it's because it looks more Mercedes than Maserati so lost its identity.

Front and rear I didn't mind it, but the side view's not for me. It didn't seem to gel where the tapered rear side window met the roof line, it was neither one thing or the other.

What do you reckon their POA is? Can’t believe they went to this expense on a soot chucker. Why on earth didn’t they use a GTS? I reckon they’ll want £70-80k or so for it.

Sorry but I really like that. After an RS6 that would be mind 2nd choice estate if they made them mainstream.

This was basically their demo vehicle. They are, apparently, open to commisions to do it again, on a model of your choice.

I like it but I can see the Merc influence from the side views. As above why diesel but I expect the price might be higher than you think maybe 6 figures which would make it too pricey

Octane have been played...

Man wants a Bellagio
Said man misses out at auction
Said man throws his toys out the pram and commissions a bespoke alternative to be his dream car
Said man uses a smoker
Said man insists on a Mercenstein creature
Said man gets article in Octane about his perfect car
Said man immediately invites offers for an uglier, less sporty version of a Bellagio
Said man loses what little respect he had left after commissioning Mercenstein monster

Madness or delusional? I know the market decides and it only takes one person to come long with more money than sense but who on earth would pay that?
