QP retrofits...

I was wondering what extra bits you can add if so inclined, theoretically of course...

All I can think of is;

1. TPMS (might need total ECU trickery)

2. Picnic tables - bolt on?

3. Rear side window blinds - bolt on?

4. Heated seats - new seats?

5. Massaging seats same?

6. Rear heating controls - simple plug in?

7. TV - useless now with all being digital

8. Telephone

So what are simple add ons and what need loom changes? Any ideas? I got most part from heated/massaging seats and as more QP's ending up being parted, might be interested!

I'm trying to get a headphone amplifier working as an input for the Aux socket so that Spotify is louder.

I'm toying with putting a USB power supply high on the dash somewhere to power my phone without cables dangling all over the console. Maybe it would go in one of these spots:

How'd you do the seats? New seats? Don't the heateds need perforated leather for your **** and back?

Well, the amp (a Topping NX1S) definitely makes the Aux volume louader, but there is an intrusive hum, that only goes away if I hold the amp in my hand. Is that something to do with 'earthing' anyone?

Also, I need to power both the amp and the BT receiver from the USB port, but I'm hoping that a mini USB splitter would keep them both powered.

Yes, that would be an earthing issue.

You have inspired me - have ordered an headphone amp today so plse keep me posted on the earthing issue - I have gone for the M Audio Bass traveller amp and a usb splitter for power...Spotify that rocks - that is the dream!

Me too i have the Loudlink and its good but the menu system does my box in..

I'd hope so. USB spec has a 0V line, which I'd expect to be the same ground as the rest of the car

I have found a solution to quite Spotify - have a look at the miccus Home RTX mini. I have replace my previous miccus receiver with this and have had a noticeable increase in volume and its cheap!! No need for an AMP - it is plenty loud enough..

Electrochromatic rear view mirror is a plug play job (but not the wing mirrors)
locking wheel nuts and fitted luggage set obvs
