A Dealer is inviting me to review the car on a ramp etc and insists car is kosher with FSH etc. The issue I have with a PPI is that the car is based near shropshire and I know the likes of Migliore, gray paul etc are a distance away. Car has over 60k miles and is a pre <148 engine but is not showing signs of variatior issues so I suspect it may have evaded the net of this problem.
Beyond looking for subframe rust etc, how can i accurately assess the wear on brakes/discs which I think are the next big ticket items after a variatior repair?
Would the likes of the folk at Migliore for example be willing to perform a check in another location if their expenses were covered?
