Hi

I need to get one set of front suspension bushes replaced. Are these generic parts and if so any idea likely cost- just so I can gauge whether to get my local mechanic to sort. Had a look on Eurospares but they only seem to quote for the full suspension arms etc

thks

Ah yes.....that’s cos it’s so hard to get the bushes in, it’s often cheaper just to change the arms....others will know a lot more about this that I

I understand there are now pattern parts from ES - you might have to call them. But it is a pig, while you can remove the bushes without one, there is a special tool which makes it a lot easier!

Thanks Zep - In fact it is the front upper suspension arm ball joint that needs replacing- hoping they can supply that portion rather than having to buy the whole kit?

As I understand it....Bushings are available separately, but the Ball Joints are not...and are part of the Kit. I recently changed out the upper-front control arm bushing on my QP and it was a pain in the butt.

What he said. If the ball joint is knackered the you need a new arm. If it’s soggy bushes these can be changed. I believe the ES kit is bushes for the top and bottom arms.
