Puncture repair kit!!

I have just noticed the smart on the drive has a slow puncture, iv located it and know where it is but i declared it sorn as i dont use it much so no tax to go out and sort it, would a puncture kit do the trick for now?

Morning Dem. I don't think puncture repair kits work as a longer term fix - they just get you home. You're probably better off to pump it up every week to save ruining the tyre.

Will putting a kit on it save it for a month or so until it leaves the drive??

if its not on a side wall perhaps u could whip the wheel off and drop it into your local tyre center should be about 25quid to repair it.

That's a good point actually - my local indie tyre dealer will plug a small puncture for a tenner.

Does tyre repair gunk still ruin tyres?
