If it is not a large kitchen you could see if a ex-dispay one is available at your local showroom.

I got a lovely german one for £5k at my last home and paid £2k for fitting... far better than Wren/B&Q etc.

£15,000 for a Kitchen?
Not sure where you live but I couldn't believe how expensive they are.
I'd check again maybe as once you have lighting, ancillaries, worktops and splash backs you can easily be into £50k territory.
We had new one fitted 10 months ago and the costs just ran away if you want good finishes.

Find out if one of your freinds, or freinds of friends has a trade account at Howdens or somewhere like that . I got 50% off my kitchen . Then just sling them a couple of hundred quid as a thankyou .
It's not what you know ........

Just a thought. Rather than a fitted kitchen, stand-alone pieces might help stretch your budget and if and when you move on, you can take them with you, rather than leave them for the next owner to rip out and replace.

You’ll get Greta points too.

As we are mostly at home now I thought I would give an update on my projects.
Things have ground to a standstill this week for obvious reasons but I am in decent shape.
Started all projects on 1st Feb

Got quotes on Under Floor Heating and decided to go another route.
En suite bathroom is done apart from cosmetic stuff.

New kitchen is in and all connected - only flooring to put down vinyl, laminate etc not sure yet
New front and back door - waiting for virus to die down
Level back garden and turf all completed
Lawn mowers fixed
Caribbean cruise 2 weeks completed without problem

Here I am waiting but I am quite pleased

Rob bank still researching.........................
Budget was £25000 and a 4 to 5 month time scale.
I have obviously been delayed on the time front due to the virus. Could not get Plaster for love nor money.
I reckon the house would be complete now but I am about a month behind
Budget is almost spot on.
So for me the key is set a realistic budget and stick to it.
Set a realistic time scale and have plenty of lee way.
Very happy with what I have achieved.
