I have one in bits that’s exactly the same as that! It’s THE one I passed my test on in 1978. I made a start on it a couple of years ago and got waylaid with house improvements. Small world!

Excellent Benny, I particularly like the fact that it is the very one you passed your test on. I was out on mine this afternoon, it’s so quaint these days but it sure puts a big smile on my face. :luvit:

The donor bike for the project is one I purchased as a basket case around 35 years ago. Restoration had started and a lot of the work was done but having restored another Colt decided to change direction and create the Geoff Duke replica with this one. My Colt attachment is also because it’s first bike I rode (and fell off). Attached picture is my restored road going bike.76830

Very nice indeed. I’ve never ridden a bike with the old ‘jam pot’ dampers, I’ve only ridden newer stuff.
