Nice one!! - Part of the reg on mine - J0- encouraged me to buy mine as it was Jo Walsh's Life's been good that inspired my maserati interest - long story.

My plan is to shorten the length of the plate preferably to 4 characters which I think are about £1200+ so it's on the long term list - I will probably fold and get one with 5 characters for £400 the usual V8 ...

AV08 MAZ is 250 quid at the DVLA, and isn't bad if your car is new enough I guess.

MA53 GTA is 250 also, I thought about sticking that on mine, but the 'A' means nothing and I don't really get private plates (probably because I don't see the value and only look at 250 quid ones!

CP11 ALL is 399 (I'm Chris Philip Hall)
I've deliberated over buying it and sticking it on retention for a few years now, am I mad to ignore it?
Also, my newest car was made in 2008 ;)

I had MA53 GTS on mine. Wavey Davey now has my old car and plate. I thought it suited the car well. It was a £250 or 300 DVLA job. I always hoped someone would offer me a few quid for it. Never happened!

You'd be mad to ignore it. It's exactly your name and initials, after the addition of the little black fixing screw cap. You'll never get a more appropriate plate, and the price is modest.

...back on the suggestions after seeing FAST ONE (FA57 ONE) on a car at the weekend...

DVLA has various FA57 GT (random letter) for £599 including GTU, GTA, GTT... or AGT (Fasta GT?)

Yeah, ok, I think I might be revealing why I don't get private plates ;)

I know that car. Viper green 997 GT3RS. He's a nice guy too.

My friend's mum has J12 MAG on her Subaru Outback. We all find it terribly amusing. If you don't get it......

Yep, the 997 is a lovely car too, looks great in that colour. We were chatting to presumably his wife about it at TartanTarmac on Sunday.

J12 MAG Outback you say...
