I've never bothered to reset or look at the trip computer in the 3 years of ownership with the mindset that she's not here for economy. I inadvertently reset the trip computer when I filled her up the weekend. With about 400 miles done since then and quite a few spirited bursts and sport I expected similar to the Jaguar I had, about 14mpg.
Astonishing 24.9 mpg. The crappy BMW doesn't do much better than that.
So as from another thread on the fruitlessness of remapping these engines, and unlike other makes, Maserati seem to really set these up with care.

Design without compromise.

I'd still adore her even if she guzzled

I thought I was doing "well" with 24 mpg this weekend! Note to self - Must try harder

I've no idea how you get over 30. Must be a glitch surely?

Over 5.5 miles on the M62 flat bit at about 50 mph (smart motorway). I was trying to eek out as best I could!

I'm only getting 15.5 mpg around here (back roads North Co. Dublin) but on the other hand I've nearly killed myself twice!

I tried to work this out whilst driving and nearly got killed lol
I’m laughing, but only because that’s exactly what would happen if I learnt whilst driving! Find it amazing that every car I’ve owned with cruise control has a different system - of all of them (surprisingly) I found my old XK8’s was the easiest to use.

My trusty daily Avensis has a stalk you click in and move up and down to adjust speed! Simples.

My TR6 (2.5 litre straight 6 fuel injected) does about 26 mpg on a 75 mile trip from home to Winsford mixed motorway and country roads
My old MB SL320 (3.2 litre ditto) did about 25 mpg on same journey
Using the QP I get about 26 mpg on same journey

All travelling at 70-75 on motorway and 40 - 60 on other roads using cruise control when possible. Don't drive in or through towns !
