Prestige Autoworks - Servicing

The Covid-19 lockdown meant that my usual garage was closed and therefore rather than delay my service, having read the reviews, I contacted Dale from Prestige Autoworks (info@Prestigeautoworks.co.uk Tel: 07470 722354). The first thing I should say is that Dale is a super chap and he uses Maserati OEM parts and Shell oil for his servicing. The costs are very reasonable (£800 for the Service 1) and because he is not yet VAT registered its even better value (so book now before that changes). I had also underestimated how much faff you avoid when you don't have to drop cars off and pick them up from the garage etc. As he is mobile, its all done at your home, it is incredibly convenient, and I defy anyone to moan at the costs for an ex HR Owen trained Maserati mechanic.

He also has all the diagnostic equipment, reset the service indicator and stamps the log. He also just managed (by pure luck) to do my 5th service on the exact 10th anniversary the cars first registration so I am a very happy bunny!

He is coming to have a look at my cars next week as they have a few small niggles that need sorting out. Will report back.

Can I ask how people have managed to contact Dale recently please? I think he's snowed under with work and unable to reply to phone calls, texts and emails. I ask as he's meant to be coming to me next week but needs more details, and I can't get hold of him to square everything up.

Thank you.

Just got to keep trying, he will get back to you. I guess for him he is doing bookings, answering queries, invoices, driving to locations, picking parts up, doing jobs, driving home. He will probably contact you at the weekend if busy on jobs this week. Spoke to him this weekend about booking in for some bits but had pinged him in the week.

I did see something on prestige Instagram about new phones and to bear with them.
If your booked in, I'm sure he'll be in touch.

Dale just completed a major service on my 2009 GTS. First time I've met him, what a great bloke! So knowledgeable and accommodating and competitive rates compared to dealer and larger indys. And all on your own drive! He did mention just how busy he is, so I guess if it's really important pre-his visit to contact him keep trying, otherwise I'm sure he'll be there.

Try his instagram account or email? Otherwise text works best but he replies in the evenings

He is busy but bear with him he will get back to you. He had my car in for a lot of jobs over three months so don’t worry. He would send a WhatsApp message late in the evening as during the day he is most likely working on a clients car.

He just stopped by my house on his way back from yours then, as he had to finished a couple of small bits on my 550.
I can confirm that he’s slammed, which is a good sign. He will definitely get back to you; I wouldn’t worry about it.

I can confirm - he's very, very busy. He fixed my variators and had my cam covers smartened up. Dale took the car apart just before lockdown and then spent weeks chasing up the bits. He did a great job. A couple of pics...

Heads up for anyone expecting Dale this week. He was due with me tomorrow, and having managed to get in touch with him at the weekend he's dropped me a line this evening to let me know that his van is out of action.

I'm sure he'll be in touch if he can't get to you but thought it worth posting here too.

I hadn't mentioned that he had to cancel his first visit as his clutch on the van packed up........outside HR Owen when he was picking the kit up to service my QP.....Ironic.....

Just confirming that Dale's back on the road again. Just had him up to sort my wishbone and shock bushes, great job! Car feels a whole lot different. Just need to get the geo checked now.
