Cracking day...

Thought I'd take the GS out for a spot of post covid fresh air... When she decided she didn't really need a left rear shoe.

2 hours from home and spent the rest of the arvo in a taxi following this lump home.

Could have been worse i suppose....

Maybe next week I'll just go do lawn bowls...

Okay, again I must ask, what paint code is that color black? The reason I always ask is I'm trying to see how many 4200s were painted Nero DS. Anyone have one in that color? She is very lovely BTW......

Can you keep us updated , probably the usual pad separated from the shoe , in which case it's not too much of a biggy, Do people not use AA relay , I have always found them excellent and you get the free lift home or another car to continue your journey

I believe this is nero carbonio? Going by the sales spiel from the mob who sold it to the bloke before me...

Loz, I think the picture shows it is party shoes; tyre failure over handbrake issue.

Because the weakest link... Even more so than the electrics... Are the buttersoft wheels! I've done more wheel work than i care to think and the tyres keep going flat. Have had the wheel surgeons do their thing over and over.... Can never find a problem. They have given up, and said its one of those curious instances of wheels being 'out of round'..... But not in a way they can diagnose it seems....

I would, but I'd need a 24 hour flight to get there to book AA. And the obligatory 2 week lockdown.

Sorry... I'm in oz... This happened 2 hours outside melbourne. RACV similar to AA... Cover the first 60 miles the rest at my cost... They also cover the taxi

Yep... Sorry, by shoe i meant tyre... But shredded through the entire tyre.

Shoulda gone the michelins! (although in reality its a wheel problem, not a tyre issue)

Thanks for the reply, lots of people don't like a 4200 in black, but I think they look great. Hope you get it sorted.
Porous casting?

But on the bright side.... At least I'm not this dude... Who dropped his entire BOAT onto the road. No joke.... As I'm going past with the GS on the tilt tray... Saw the poor chap who made it a few hundred metres before he realised his boat had made a run for it... He's possibly still trying to load it now, 6 hours later...
